Refund & Cancellation

Overview

At Gerth Technology, we strive to deliver the highest quality of service. Please read our Refund & Cancellation Policy carefully before making a purchase or engaging our services.

1. Non-Refundable Advance

All projects require a 50% advance payment before work commences. This advance is strictly non-refundable as it covers project planning, resource allocation, and initial development work.

2. Refund Eligibility

Refunds on the remaining balance (paid post-delivery) may be considered in the following cases:

  • The delivered work does not match the agreed-upon project scope or specifications.
  • We fail to deliver the project within the agreed timeline (excluding delays caused by the client).
  • A major technical defect exists that we are unable to resolve within a reasonable timeframe.

Refund requests must be submitted in writing within 7 days of final delivery.

3. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be provided in the following circumstances:

  • The client changes their mind after work has commenced.
  • The client provides incorrect, incomplete, or misleading information.
  • Delays in delivery are caused by the client (late feedback, approvals, or content).
  • The client is unsatisfied with the design style after approving initial concepts.
  • Services that have been fully rendered and delivered as per scope.

4. Cancellation by Client

If the client wishes to cancel a project after commencement:

  • The initial deposit (50%) is forfeited.
  • Any additional work completed beyond the deposit-covered scope will be invoiced proportionally.
  • The client must provide written cancellation notice via email.

5. Cancellation by Us

We reserve the right to cancel a project or refuse service if:

  • The client engages in abusive or unprofessional conduct.
  • The project requires illegal or unethical content.
  • Payment obligations are not met as per the agreed schedule.

In such cases, we will refund the proportionate amount for work not yet completed.

6. Revision Policy

Each project includes a defined number of revision rounds as specified in the project agreement. Additional revisions beyond the agreed scope may incur additional charges. Revision requests do not qualify for a refund.

7. Digital Products & Templates

Sales of digital products, website templates, or pre-built assets are final and non-refundable once downloaded or accessed, as they cannot be returned.

8. Refund Process

Approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days to the original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.
